Hi Sam... this is Alex Vander-Starre's dad. Just wanted to say that I'm thankful you are who you are, and that God created you. You are truly an inspiration to us all. Thanks for sharing your life with us. We are praying for you and will continue to do that. Keep pushing and keep smiling, and above all, just praise God no matter what happens - He will take you places you never dreamed of going.

Of course we are still checking Sams Blog site! And we are still praying for all of you also as you adjust to this new situation. I love the new bike and will be watching for all of you when traveling to Grand Haven. How about hitching a mini farm wagon to the bike and anchoring a sound system to the boards...you would have the coolest portable CD player around! That would be Stylin'! I am so glad to see Sam with some new toys to enjoy and want to say that all of you have been an inspiration to us, Love from Uncle Ernie and Aunt Jan

I have been watching your progress and I can tell you I have tears in my eyes almost every time I see how far you have come in such a short short time.
I love to watch Gods hand at work in your life and lukes life and I know your mom and dads. Especially in your determination and your face. I bet you never in your wildest dreams knew you would be an instrument to inspire so so many people .
I wanted you to know I think of you almost daily and pray for you accordingly.
Dave and I are so proud of you and can't wait to see what you will do next.
